Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at more than 4,900 locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.

Every year since 2008, Congress proclaims a Saturday in December as National Wreaths Across America Day. This year’s Wreaths Across America Day will take place on December 13, 2025. On that day, more than 2 million Veterans’ Wreaths will be placed across Local, National and Military Cemeteries as well as Veterans’ Memorials and historic sites.

At Trinity Country Church, with this small gesture of gratitude for the freedoms Americans enjoy, we humbly take part in the Wreaths Across America ceremony by placing a wreath on the grave of each Veteran in our cemetery, saying the Veteran’s names aloud and thanking them for their service.

To donate a wreath at the Trinity Country Church cemetery, please mark the memo line of your check for $17 with the words, “Veteran Wreath”. The check can be mailed to the church or simply placed in the offering box. To order for a SPECIFIC veteran in our cemetery, order online at: www.wreathsacrossamerica.org, and use the location code OHTRIN.

Heifer International began in 1944 with a simple but groundbreaking plan to tackle hunger around the world. By partnering with farmers across a range of different livestock and crops, a unique solutions to local challenges is created. Together, inclusive, resilient economies are built, so communities can develop effective ways to end global hunger and poverty in a sustainable way. It all begins with a seed investment of livestock or agriculture, followed by mentorship to help project participants build a business. These families are able to earn a living income and continuously lift up their communities as they train the next generation of leaders.

Heifer International is working to end world hunger in 19 countries across four continents. Heifer works in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, Ethiopia, Honduras, India, Kenya, Malawi, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda, the United States of America, and Zambia.
The Norris Family - Missionaries in Cambodia

Peter and Amber Norris, along with their children—Lena, Isaac, and Katie—serve in Cambodia, ministering to university students from across the country. In 2015 they joined a short-term team to Cambodia. During that trip, they sensed God inviting them into a movement for change. In faith, they responded—and in 2020, they relocated to Cambodia full-time.

Donations can be made through Trinity Country Church - please add "Norris Family" to the memo line of your check.
